Product overview
MIRAVIS® Neo is a systemic suspo-emulsion fungicide for the preventative control of diseases in crops listed on the approved product label. It combines three active ingredients with different modes of action: ADEPIDYN™ technology (FRAC Group 7), propiconazole (FRAC Group 3) and azoxystrobin (FRAC Group 11).
This combination acts on different processes involved in fungal growth and energy production. Use MIRAVIS Neo as part of a planned disease-management programme, following the label directions for the relevant crop and disease.
How does MIRAVIS® Neo work?
ADEPIDYN™ technology - FRAC Group 7ADEPIDYN™ is a succinate dehydrogenase inhibitor (SDHI). It inhibits Complex II in the fungal respiration pathway, disrupting energy production. The supplied product information describes ADEPIDYN as providing extended residual activity that protects leaves and delays senescence. Propiconazole - FRAC Group 3Propiconazole is a triazole fungicide that inhibits sterol biosynthesis in fungal cell membranes. It inhibits subcuticular mycelial development and helps prevent disease symptoms from developing. It also has local systemic properties and translaminar movement within the leaf. Azoxystrobin - FRAC Group 11Azoxystrobin is a strobilurin fungicide. It disrupts electron transport at the Qo site of Complex III in the fungal mitochondrion, interrupting respiration and ATP synthesis. |

Supporting a considered disease-management programme
The three active ingredients in MIRAVIS® Neo belong to FRAC Groups 7, 3 and 11. Using fungicides responsibly means considering modes of action across the whole programme-not relying repeatedly on the same group. Follow the product label and current resistance-management guidance for the crop and disease.
Use according to the label
The crops, target diseases, application timing, rate, number of applications, intervals, tank-mix guidance and other restrictions can vary by registration. Before use, consult the current South African product label and follow all directions and precautions.
