Medium to dark-green fruit turning red at maturity
A blocky hybrid pepper turning red at maturity. Balta exhibits a strong, open growth habit plant with good foliage cover. The variety exhibits continuous fruit setting and production producing fruits with uniform size and shape. The fruit is blocky, turning from green to red with high quality very large-sized fruit(11 x 10 cm). Fruit mass is > 230 g with a solid thick fruit wall. Balta is aimed at areas where virus pressure might be a problem and suited for culture under plastic.
