Syngenta exhibits at TUKS's Agri-Food Career Fair

In August, the University of Pretoria held a two day Career Fair on the Piazza of the main campus. 

The objective of the Fair was to entice young students to consider a career in the agricultural industry.  Whilst the focus was on first-year BSc Biological Science students, the Fair was also attended by students pursuing studies in general BSc courses as well as Grade 12 pupils who have not yet decided on an area of specialisation. 

Syngenta was a proud exhibitor, showcasing its numerous and diverse career opportunities within the company’s global presence.  Over the two day period more than 3,000 students visited the Fair, and many attendees shared their excitement and interest in Syngenta’s integrated crop solution offering.  The Syngenta stand explained the importance of food security and the need to feed a growing population, clearly showing the importance of recruiting specialists to address the challenges of tomorrow.
